Welcome to the main hub for Oracle's web-tier solutions, Oracle iPlanet Web Server, Oracle HweTTP Server, Oracle Web Cache, and Oracle iPlanet Web Proxy Server, are the components of Oracle WebTier.

• Oracle HTTP Server is the Web server component for Oracle Fusion Middleware. It provides a HTTP listener for Oracle WebLogic Server and the framework for hosting static pages, dynamic pages, and applications over the Web. Key aspects of Oracle HTTP Server are its technology, its serving of both static and dynamic content and its integration with both Oracle and non-Oracle products.
• Oracle iPlanet Web Server securely and reliably deploys web applications built with leading-edge technologies, such as JavaServer Pages, Java servlets, Active Server Pages (ASP), ColdFusion, Personal Home Page construction kit (PHP), and Common Gateway Interface (CGI). • Oracle Web Cache is a content-aware server accelerator, or reverse proxy, for the web tier that improves the performance, scalability, and availability of Web sites running on any web server or application server, such as Oracle HTTP Server and Oracle WebLogic Server.
• Oracle iPlanet Web Proxy Server is deployable at Internet gateways and strategically within intranets to reduce traffic bottlenecks, filter content, and maintain security.
