  • Metrolink to Provide Limited Service on Thanksgiving

In observance of Thanksgiving, Metrolink will operate limited service on Thursday, November 24.

No service will be offered on the Orange County, Inland Empire-Orange County or 91/Perris Valley lines on Thanksgiving. Additionally, service will resume after the holiday, Friday, November 25.

The Rail 2 Rail® program will be suspended from Wednesday, Nov. 23, through Sunday, Nov. 27. Aside from shared trains Amtrak 768 and Amtrak 761, which are not subject to the Rail 2 Rail® restrictions, Metrolink customers will not be able to ride Amtrak trains between November 23 and November 27 without valid Amtrak fare. Amtrak tickets will not be accepted on Metrolink trains during this time either.

The Rail 2 Rail® program allows Metrolink Monthly Pass holders along the Orange and Ventura County corridors to travel on Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains within the station pairs of their pass at no additional charge.

The City of Tustin is closing the Tustin Train Station for maintenance beginning December 1, 2016 until December 4, 2016.

Transit users should plan accordingly and use the parking available at the Irvine or Santa Ana Train Stations. A parking variance will also be in effect from Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 12:00pm through Monday, December 5, 2016 at 12:00pm in order to allow a limited number of on-street parking on both sides of Dow Avenue and Franklin Avenue north of the train station.
