Energy Secretary Chu to Keynote World Renewable Energy Forum in Denver

WASHINGTON – Today, Wednesday, May 16, 2012, U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu will deliver a keynote address at the World Renewable Energy Forum in Denver, Colorado, where he will highlight the economic opportunities in the clean energy economy as well as the Obama Administration’s commitments to strengthening U.S. leadership in the global clean energy race and helping American clean energy companies continue to create jobs and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Following his remarks, Secretary Chu will tour the Exhibit Hall and participate in a media availability with Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation CEO Tom Clark and RES Americas Senior Vice President for Technical & Commercial Analysis Andrew Oliver.
