The mission of the Tuolumne County Department of Social Services is to provide appropriate services to individuals and families to enhance self-sufficiency. Such services include financial assistance; medical benefits; in-home care for the elderly and disabled; employment and training services; and protective services for children and adults.

The Tuolumne County Department of Social Services is committed to the safety and welfare of every individual and takes reports of neglect of abuse seriously.
