The State Department of Housing & Community Development (State HCD) Joe Serna Farmworker Housing Program offers financing for farmworker housing development.

The HOME Program provides financing for affordable housing development and renovation. Developers interested in this program partner with the County which submits the funding application to State HCD.

The Community Development Block Grant Program can also help with certain costs associated with housing development. Funds are accessed from State HCD in partnership with the County.

The California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) provides bond financing for affordable housing.

The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee provides tax credit financing for affordable housing new development and rehabilitation.

Nonprofit housing developers can apply for grants for housing development through the Federal Home Loan Bank Affordable Housing Program.
