Emergency Preparedness
Tuolumne County Health Department administers an Emergency Preparedness and Response Program which is funded by grants from the Centers for Disease Control and the State of California.

The Emergency Preparedness Program coordinates the planning and preparation for public health emergencies, including infectious disease outbreaks and bioterrorism incidents. This is a collaborative effort with:
- The Public Health Department
- Other county departments
- Local agencies, clinics, and groups that serve the people of Tuolumne County
Preparation
A Healthcare and Safety Coalition meets quarterly, or as needed. Drills and exercises are held periodically to test and improve local response plans and skills.
