Revenue Recovery

The Office of Revenue Recovery (ORR) was established to provide agencies and departments within the county with professional collection of debts owed to the county. Revenue Recovery works closely with these departments to collect money due, while at the same time providing assistance to individuals seeking to clear their financial obligations to the county.

Amnesty Program
On June 24, 2015, the Governor signed into law a one-time amnesty program for unpaid non-traffic infractions and unpaid traffic tickets. For more information, and to see if you qualify to participate in the program please visit http://www.courts.ca.gov/trafficamnesty.

Payment Options:
Payments can be made online, by phone, in person, or by mail.

Online and Phone Payments
You may pay your bill online or by calling Official Payments at 888-566-0994. Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards are accepted. Please note:
  • You will need your account number to use this service.    
  • There is a service fee of $3.95 for each transaction
  • It may take up to 48 hours for your payment to post to your account
  • You will not receive a receipt from us; however, your payment will appear on your monthly statement.

In Person
Payments can be made in our office between the hours of 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m.

By Mail
You may send a check or money order made payable to ORR. Please DO NOT send cash.

  • Please include the return portion from your statement. If you do not have the return portion, write your account number on the check.
  • If you are paying for multiple accounts on one check, please indicate the amount you would like applied to each account.
  • Please include your current address and phone number in case we need to contact you regarding your payment.

Some fines and fees may require payment by cash, cashier's check, or money order.

You may visit our office at any time during business hours to speak with a collections officer regarding your account. If your assigned collections officer is unavailable, any collections officer will be able to assist you.
