NRCS will work to encourage farmers to reduce energy consumption, conserve fuel and reduce green house gases. In partnership with the private sector and other organizations, NRCS will develop technical tools and training to evaluate and reduce agricultural energy consumption, help producers adapt plants and practices for better energy efficiency and on-farm energy conservation.
