The School’s primary mission is to maintain excellent teaching, research, and service programs that are responsive to agronomic, horticultural, and environmental management needs of the people of Louisiana, our Nation, and our world. To achieve this mission, the School enhances, develops, and delivers expertise that anticipates and responds to society's changing needs for food and fiber, and environmental enhancement and stewardship. Our faculty seeks to educate and prepare students for successful professional careers and to assume social responsibilities that promote harmonious diversity for the benefit of humanity.
