Biennial Report

Large Quantity Generators

The South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources requires hazardous waste Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities and Large Quantity Generators (LQGs) of hazardous waste, to submit a biennial report by March 1 of each even numbered year.  With the next reporting period being calendar year 2015, the next biennial report submissions will be due by March 1, 2016.

Access to the report instruction booklet and forms can be obtained by either contacting the South Dakota Waste Management Program staff at (605) 773-3153, or via this link 2015 Biennial Hazardous Waste Report -- Instructions and Forms.  Completed reports may be submitted to the department either electronically or by hard copy.  Hard copy or disc copies can be mailed to:

Electronic Submittal

South Dakota utilizes biennial report software developed by the state of Florida.  The software is provided free to those wishing to utilize the program, and can be accessed at:
