Military

Military personnel should be well aware of the hazards associated with munitions, particularly those encountered outside the Department of Defense's logistical management system. It is important for you and your family to remember that munitions used or encountered during training and deployments are dangerous and should never be handled unnecessarily or taken or kept as souvenirs or war trophies.  Military families living and working on or near military installations, particularly those with operational ranges, should be familiar with the potential hazards associated with munitions. It is critical that you and your family know what to do if you encounter or suspect you have encountered a munition.  Follow the 3Rs of Explosives Safety.
