Hurricane Sandy
Hurricane Sandy made landfall in southern New Jersey near Atlantic City at 8:00PM on Monday night. Massachusetts was lucky to avoid a direct hit from Sandy, but did experience minor to moderate coastal flooding, some wind damage and extensive power outages.
