Consumption of Natural Gas in the U.S.
Notes: Natural gas consumption, measured in million cubic feet, by end use in 2015.
Only 0.13% of the natural gas consumed in the U.S. in 2015 was used to power vehicles. This shows that the compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) motor fuels market has very little sway over the larger natural gas specifications, operations, and market.
