The Navy Region Southwest (NRSW) Arrive Alive (511 card) program in the San Diego Metro area terminated on 5 August 2013. Yellow Cab will no longer accept the 511 Arrive Alive card as a form of payment.
All future DUI prevention efforts will reside at the unit level, based on policies set forth by each Commanding Officer. Guidance from Fleet, Force, and Regional Master Chiefs will be forthcoming on ideas to mitigate the fundamental problems of DUI arrests and alcohol-related personal motor vehicle (PMV) mishaps.
