Animal pollinators, especially honey bees, are critical for producing of our food products. But despite their value, many pollinator species are in trouble. To help fight population declines, NRCS is working with private landowners to establish pollinator habitat through conservation.

NRCS is helping to lead efforts to reduce land-based sources of pollution (sediment, nutrients, bacteria) that harm fragile coral reef ecosystems through EQIP.

NRCS helps producers transition to organic operations, and plan/ install conservation practices to make their organic operations more sustainable.
