The Branch Chief for Business and Portfolio Management serves as the Region 9 Assistant Director for Information Resources (ADIR) and oversees operations of the Washington Office Local Area Network. This office provides network services and customer support for 600 users and 53 file and application servers. The branch provides telephone system and teleconferencing and video-conferencing support for the Service headquarters offices. This branch works closely with the Branch of Communications Technology (BCT) in managing its information resources. The CTO represents region 9 on the CTO Council.
