DESIGN

Design professionals interested in performing design contracts with the department must first complete the Vendor Registration process.  Upon successful completion of the process, design firms are encouraged to apply for design opportunities posted by the department.  
Selection of design professionals is governed by Section 905 of the Procurement Code

Small Business Design

 

Per Part IV of the Procurement Handbook, DGS Public Works will, when required, select Small Business Design firms for the completion of agency-funded construction projects. Upon selection of the design firm, DGS will work with the using agency to determine the business owner of the work order. The following documents will be used:
