Campbell Lodge Renovation

The Campbell Lodge at Durant Nature Preserve is under renovation. During the renovation the South entrance located at 3237 Spottswood St will be open to the public. The projected completion date for the project is March 31.

Sertoma Arts Center Renovations

Sertoma Arts Center will be closed for major HVAC renovations beginning December 31, 2016. The center is scheduled to reopen in April 2017.

Jaycee Park Improvements

Jaycee Park Re-Paving Project
Work will begin Monday, September 26, 2016 on a re-paving project at Jaycee Park. Phase one work will involve the demolition and re-paving of the parking lot in front of the Frank Evans building. Phase two will involve demolition and re-paving of the service road between Frank Evans Administration Office and the Jaycee Softball Field #1. All offices will remain open. City of Raleigh Recycling Station will be located temporarily near Jaycee Field #3 with access from Tower St. Limited parking will remain available in front of Jaycee Center and additional parking is available at the volleyball and tennis courts. We expect the project to be completed and open for use by February 2017.

Jaycee Park Dog Run
Work will begin Monday, September 26, 2016 on the construction of the City’s new off leash dog facility at Jaycee Park. Initial work will involve the demolition of the old comfort station/picnic shelter structure and initial site clearing. Installation of fencing, concrete entrance, connecting sidewalk, signage and surfacing will follow. We expect the facility to be completed and opened for use by early Spring, 2017.

Greenway Repairs and Closures

As greenways trails and structures age, maintenance and repairs are necessary. Due to the nature of this work, the trails will occasionally need to be closed to complete this work in an safe and efficient manner.
