Welcome to Port Compliance.org!
This web site was put together as part of a port industry focus group effort (read the "About"). This tool emphases environmental, land-based, regulatory issues facing port tenants and authorities. Included are common port operations cross referenced with regulatory requirements; audit program incentive opportunities; enforcement case studies and updates; inspector checklists. To demonstrate the beyond compliance arena we've included guidance on environmental management systems, diesel retrofit and other good practices and community outreach initiatives. We hope the material within encourages you to network with other ports and authorities who have environmental programs in place. To do so simply click on "Ports & Associations" and/or look for resources produced by ports within the various categories.
