The First Report of the Tropical Pacific Observing System 2020 project was published on 30 December 2016. This report contains initial recommendations for the Backbone and a synopsis of initial results and plans for the various initiatives of TPOS 2020. We are pleased to announce the 4th International Conference on Earth System Modelling (4ICESM) will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from 28 August – 1 September 2017.
10-14 July 2017, New York (USA). The conference will serve as a basis for a new assessment of regional sea level research that will be an important input to the next IPCC assessment.
