On July 24th, a team of agencies performed ultrasound and antibiotic injections on the captive brood stock of White River spring Chinook at Little White Salmon NFH. In 1999, the National Marine Fisheries Service listed this dwindling stock as endangered. Little White Salmon NFH, "The Flagship", plays an important role in the success of this program.

Spawning of 199 females is projected to begin on September 4th. Thank you to everyone for making this a smooth and successful day! Represented agencies include Lower Columbia River Fish Health Center, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, Spring Creek NFH, and Little White Salmon NFH.
