The Office of the General Counsel maintains listservs and RSS feeds to keep the public up to date about recent actions and legal guidance. Please subscribe to these resources by following the instructions below:
GC Hotline Listserv. The DOE General Counsel’s Office operates an email hotline for legal questions related to the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA), including the State Energy Program (SEP), Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) and Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). State, county, municipal, and tribal government representatives are welcome to email their legal questions to GChotline@hq.doe.gov. Answers to questions of general interest are simultaneously published on the GCHotline FAQ and emailed to the GC Hotline Listserv. You can sign up for the GC Hotline Listerv by sending an email to listserv@listserv.energy.gov. In the body of the email, type “Subscribe GCUPDATE” followed by your FIRST NAME and LAST NAME. (Frequency: 3-6 emails per week)
GC News Updates. The DOE General Counsel’s Office regularly issues press releases and announcements about our work. These press releases and statements include updates on GC enforcement actions.There are two options for receiving the latest news from the General Counsel's Office:
- GC_News Listserv: Receive immediate GC News updates in your email inbox, by sending an email to listserv@listserv.energy.gov with “Subscribe GC_News” followed by your FIRST NAME and LAST NAME, in the body of the email.
- GC News RSS Feed: Learn more about RSS feeds and how to receive instant updates, or sign up directly through an RSS reader.
The Office of NEPA Policy and Compliance maintains two Listserv lists to provide a central notification system for
- DOE NEPA news, including announcements, notices, and related documents posted on this website, and
- draft Environmental Assessments.
