Crooked River Valley Rehabilitation Project; Idaho County, Idaho
Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) adopted the Crooked River Valley Rehabilitation Project EIS, prepared by the U.S. Forest Service with BPA as a cooperating agency, and issued a record of decision and mitigation action plan. BPA decided to provide funding for implementing the project to improve tributary fish habitat and water quality in the Crooked River by moving dredge tailings, reconstructing floodplains and a portion of the stream channel, installing woody debris for bank structure and instream fish habitat, constructing side channels and wetlands, and replanting vegetation.
