Docket No. EO-05-01. Order No. 202-05-03: This letter responds to the allegations of the letter from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and further explains why outages of the two 230 kV transmission lines must occur as soon as possible to ensure electric reliability to the national capital region and to prevent the deleterious health and safety impacts that would occur in the event of an interruption in electric power service to that area.
