    Welcome

    The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is an accredited museum operated by the United States Navy that celebrates the 237 years history of the fleet in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. We are located on the second floor of Nauticus in beautiful downtown Norfolk, Virginia.

    The images you see on this site, represent some of the historic events, artifacts, and people that are the focus of HRNM's mission.

    Winter Hours

    The Museum is operating under Winter hours. Tuesday-Saturday, we are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m., and closed on Mondays (except Martin Luther King's Birthday (January 21) & Presidents Day (February 18) we will be open those days.).

    As always, admission is FREE!
