Our Programs

Focus Programs are those that currently occupy varying levels of interest in the Service. Impacts of invasive species on native fish and wildlife species including federally listed species appear to be increasing. GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is becoming increasingly important as agencies increase their effectiveness with limited resources.

In an effort to lower our carbon footprint, wind power development is increasing its importance. Our desire is that it be done while minimizing impacts to special resources.

Finally, environmental contaminants remain a persistent problem in our state and require more emphasis on resolving their impacts.
