The primary goal of the LCRC is to facilitate Argonne science and engineering programs that require mid-range supercomputing. The LCRC operates Fusion, a 320-node computing cluster, as a production system and software development platform for the Argonne community. LCRC also provides user support and training, and maintains a wide range of scalable applications and tools. In addition, LCRC facilitates datacenter consolidation and efficiency via partnerships with Laboratory programs.
