NRCS State Technical Committee Meeting Is June 8

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will host a State Technical Committee meeting from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. June 8 at the University of Missouri Bradford Research and Extension Center near Columbia. Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. The meeting will allow Missouri citizens and representatives of organizations and agencies the opportunity to provide input about the delivery of NRCS programs within the state.

Topics will include updates on Farm Bill programs and program implementation in Fiscal Year 2017. There will be presentations by NRCS, USDA Farm Service Agency, Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Soil and Water Conservation Program, and the Missouri Department of Conservation.
