Patient Safety Learning Center (PSLC):
This member-based Patient Safety Community of Interest connects DoD, military, and approved contractors who are engaged in patient safety activities. Members can use the PSLC to access and share knowledge about patient safety, and collaborate on best practices across the Military Health System (MHS).
Please note that the PSLC recently transitioned from the Intelink platform to the new Defense Health Agency (DHA) Launchpad, a SharePoint-based platform. This transition will improve the registration process and user interface, CAC-only access, site navigation, and file access for all users.

Medical Team Performance Assessment Tool (MTPAT):

TeamSTEPPS consists of a collection of instructions, materials and tools to help drive a successful teamwork initiative from the initial planning to implementation through to sustainment. The system is designed to improve patient safety using a three-phase approach: Phase I Assessment: Facility determines organizational readiness; Phase II Planning, Training & Implementation: Facility “decides what to do” and “makes it happen;” and Phase III Sustainment: Facility spreads the improvements in teamwork performance, clinical processes and outcomes resulting from the TeamSTEPPS initiative.TeamSTEPPS principles through evaluation, debrief and analysis of healthcare team performance in training and operational environments. Access this tool to evaluate the use of TeamSTEPPS principles and tools, the application of core teamwork skills and much more. Check it out.
