Webinar Information and Requirements

A webinar is an online, real-time, interactive forum where individual participants can see materials the presenter is showing real-time on screen and hear the discussion. It is not just a presentation you read online by yourself.

Check out upcoming NEIWPCC webinars!

NEIWPCC is providing trainings through the webinar format to let you "attend" trainings regardless of your location but also so you can interact with the trainer, ask questions, take notes, etc., as if you were in the same room.

We use an ordinary conference call for the audio portion of our training webinars. A conference call allows you to listen and also ask questions.

Participants don't need any pre-training to attend a webinar. Just follow the instructions in your registration email. If you've never done a webinar before, the computer will probably need to download a small piece of software.

System Requirements:

You need both a computer to see the presentation and a phone to hear the discussion.

You will need:

  • a phone to dial in to the audio portion of the webinar.
  • a broadband internet connection.
  • a PC with Windows® 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Windows 7; or a Mac OS® X 10.4 or newer
  • moderate or high screen resolution. If the resolution or screen size is too low, you might have trouble seeing the presentation materials.
  • a recent-version browser (IE 6 or newer, Firefox 2 or newer, Safari 3 or newer, Chrome 3 or newer) with Javascript and cookies enabled
  • Note - the webinar requires that your computer download a small piece of software. If your computer is restricted from downloading software, you might not be able to access the webinar.
  • optional: a telephone headset will free your hands, so you won't have to hold the phone up to your ear the entire time.

Recording and Archiving
For those individuals unable to participate in live events, or interested in accessing information in the future, all NEIWPCC UST Inspector Webinars will be recorded and archived on this website for permanent access.
