Department of Energy Savannah River Site 2015 Small Business Forum

The Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management, Savannah River Site and the Savannah River National Laboratory hosted a Small Business Forum on May 19, 2016. The purpose of the forum was to better recognize innovative technologies with the potential to improve operational performance and reduce costs for environmental cleanup.

BES Technologies Wins CNS-Y12 Small Business Award

October 2015: BES Technologies (BEST) recently received a Small Business Award from Consolidated Nuclear Security (CNS), the Y-12 contractor for the Department of Energy in Oak Ridge, TN. The award was made from the Socioeconomic Programs Office, and other awardees included K-9 Search on Site; Secured Transportation Services, LLC; Personal Computer Systems, Inc.; and Container Technologies Industries, LLC. BEST performs radioactive water, laundry and respirator services.

Small Business Program Extends Hand to Vendors, Entrepreneurs Throughout Idaho

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory reached out to small business owners throughout the state recently by meeting individually and in groups to explain the national laboratory’s needs for achieving its research missions.
Nearly 50 people participated in the lab’s Small Business Forum Nov. 13 at INL’s new gateway research center, the Energy Innovation Laboratory. The forum was hosted by the Department of Energy-Idaho Operations Office, Idaho National Laboratory, Idaho Cleanup Project and the Idaho Treatment Group.
