GTO Projects Score Big at World's Largest Annual Geothermal Event

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) has announced the winners of its annual outstanding technical presentation awards from across the global geothermal energy community.  Winners were chosen from each of the GRC Technical Sessions held in late October at the 40th GRC Annual Meeting in Sacramento, California, the world’s largest annual geothermal energy event with 1,250 attendees from around the globe. One hundred fifteen presentations were made, exceeding 40 hours of technical content, over a three day period.

Geothermal Technologies Office funded projects were among those awarded. Congratulations to the following awards recipients:

Session: Case Studies 2 ‐ Geothermal Production from Oil/Gas Wells and Transportation with Two‐Step Absorption System, Liu, Xiaobing & Hughes, Patrick & Anderson, Arlene.
