My name is Glenn Henshall and I am the Property Manager at the Harbors at Haverstraw located on the Hudson River in Haverstraw New York. Recently, I was able to attend a seminar for property managers regarding emergency preparedness and a fellow property manager was inquiring about a solution for a visible rooftop area. I was happy to provide her with a strong recommendation for your rubber pavers. As the Harbor Club building was being finished and occupied back in 2006, many complaints were coming in as a result of the unsightly rooftop surface over the clubhouse which was directly insight of many units. The residents felt that their Hudson River views were compromised. Now with five years of use, the pavers still look new and the residents are happy with the aesthetics. Hello, I am addressing this to Eric Prinz since that is who I worked with last time!
In 2006, the Princeton Recreation Department bought a safety mat from Unity and it was great! Last Fall we started demolition and construction of a new pool complex. We are now in the market for another safety mat for our new pool.
I have attached the 2006 invoice because this is exactly what we need to surround a 3 meter diving board. The anchors are being placed tomorrow and I want to be sure to have the mat ready for the new pool season. Could you please give me a quote for a new mat? Feel free to call.

Unity Surfacing really works, especially with rooftop fires...
My name is David Goldoff; I am the managing agent for Camelot Realty Group; as agent for 257 Water Street, located in the South Street Seaport of Lower Manhattan. I manage a six story loft building occupied by several residential tenants. On the roof of our six story building, we converted the roof space into a common roof-top patio for all the occupants to use.
Based on their experience in the industry and their extensive testing, we selected “Unity Surfacing Systems” products as our vendor to supply and install rubberized pavers on our roof-top to act as finished flooring that is light impact on our older roof system. It looks great, safe for children and adults, no nails, reduces noise, and was easy to install. Best of all it offers a dual fire protective coating, thus adding another level of protection for our roof.
Unfortunately, on June 5th 2005, we had the misfortune of putting Unity Surfacing pavers to the test. We had a fire on our roof-top patio that led to the local Fire Department coming to the building and successfully extinguishing the blaze. Luckily, to the fire department's surprise only the top surface of the rubber pavers were slightly burned. Thankfully, Unity's pavers completely protected our roof and saved us and other neighboring buildings from massive damage and harm, especially to our tenants and the pedestrians below.
To me, a great product is best tested when unexpected events occur; like roof fires that can and will happen, thus putting a product to the ultimate test... Unity’s ballast pavers proved that they are strong, long lasting, and can protect your roof from fires and other unexpected events.
FYI: We are in the process of remodeling the building and plan to use Unity's products and services again to resurface our new roof deck as we know it will complement our building, our tenants and the neighborhood quite well. But this time with no fires....
