ACQUISITION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUBCOMMITTEE
SUBCOMMITTEE PURPOSE: The Subcommittee will provide advice, information, and recommendations to the Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management (EM) relating to project management. Although, EM has a solid performance record for cleanup projects, EM must improve its ability to deliver all projects within cost and on schedule, thereby reducing EM’s operations and maintenance costs. The Subcommittee produces reports and recommendations to the Environmental Management Advisory Board (EMAB) as necessary.

RISK SUBCOMMITTEE
SUBCOMMITTEE PURPOSE: The Subcommittee will use the topic of risk-informed decision making to assist Environmental Management (EM) as it develops priorities in setting EM funding profiles in a funding-challenge environment. The Subcommittee will evaluate risk-informed decision making tools to provide specific recommendations to EM. The Subcommittee produces reports and recommendations to the Environmental Management Advisory Board (EMAB) as necessary.
