As a Partner of the Better Buildings, Better Plants Challenge, Legrand, North America has improved its energy intensity through a combination of technology, process and behavioral changes. Through energy audits at manufacturing, warehouse, and office facilities, the company has identified energy efficiency opportunities with payback periods spanning immediate results to four years. The North American headquarters, located in West Hartford, CT, serves as Legrand’s Better Plants Challenge showcase site and as a demonstration of the benefits of submetering to identify the broadest range of energy saving opportunities.
