Online Training

Through web-based training, OPM covers the essentials of telework to ensure that all Federal employees have access to the training they need to be motivated and effective teleworkers. Telework 101 for Employees and Telework 101 for Managers are available on OPM’s Manager’s Corner, a site that contains a wide array of tools, training courses, and resources to assist in enhancing HR related technical and leadership competencies for all Federal leaders — supervisors, managers and executives.

Human Resources Flexibilities and Authorities for Federal Employees Affected by the Zika Virus Memo

OPM recently released the Human Resources Flexibilities and Authorities for Federal Employees Affected by the Zika Virus memorandum.  This memorandum has three attachments providing information and/or guidance from OPM, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.  They present current guidance on protecting workers from occupational exposure to the Zika virus and remind the Federal community of the various human resources flexibilities and authorities that may be available to help affected Federal employees.

Updated Telework Training Modules for Agencies

OPM is pleased to announce the release of two updated and enhanced telework training modules: 1) Telework Fundamentals -- Employee Training, and 2) Telework Fundamentals -- Manager Training.  These online training modules continue to be available on HR University at no cost.
