A South Carolina National Guard’s CH-47F Chinook helicopter assigned lands at the Whale Branch Early College High School and delivers water and food supplies to the community of Seabrook in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew Oct. 9. DLA Troop Support provided meals for 6,000 Marine recruits who were evacuated before the storm from Paris Island, South Carolina to Albany, Georgia. Hurricane Matthew peaked as a Category 4 hurricane in the Caribbean and hit the S.C. coast on Oct. 7.
