Training & Certification

For more than 40 years, NEIWPCC has worked to ensure that the professionals who run wastewater and water treatment facilities are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills. Through our regional training program, we develop, coordinate, and conduct training courses at locations throughout New England and New York State. These courses cover all aspects of water and wastewater treatment operations, maintenance, and management. The majority of our courses are open to all qualified individuals, but we also design and deliver customized programs directly to workforces at utilities, industries, communities, and government agencies.

NEIWPCC also manages Maine's Joint Environmental TrainingCoordinating Committee (JETCC) and leads a consortium of training organizations that is responsible for the Massachusetts Wastewater Operator Training (MWOT) and Certification program. NEIWPCC also coordinates the Massachusetts Title 5 Onsite Wastewater
Training and Certification for Soil Evaluators and System Inspectors.
