Colorado offers a different way of life.
Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast, a cultural activity connoisseur, or an avid sports fan, the Denver Metro area offers it all. With over 300 days of sunshine a year, we think you'll see pretty quickly that it doesn't get much better than calling Colorado home.
Our main campus in Golden, Colorado, is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and is just 20 minutes west of Denver. The National Wind Technology Center is located 20 miles north of Golden, outside of Boulder, Colorado, and we also operate a small, satellite office in Washington, D.C. near the U.S. Department of Energy's headquarters.
Our core values guide our actions inside and outside of the laboratory.
Our professional lives are based on our core values: a safe and supportive work environment, leadership for societal impact, integrity, creativity, and excellence. These values are present in our personal lives as well. We are looking for employees whose values align with ours.
We also take our commitment to sustainability very seriously. Our mission focuses on a sustainable energy future for our nation and world, and we maintain a sustainable environment in our workplace. We believe we should use minimal resources like energy, materials, and water, and receive the maximum value from those resources.
