Video: Investing in Tribal Success

The DOE Office of Indian Energy will host regional workshops in Barrow, Fairbanks, and Gulkana to provide Alaska Native communities with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the complexities of developing clean energy projects.
Presenters shared recent successes, lessons learned, and benefits from tribal renewable energy and efficiency projects around the country.
On Nov. 14, during the DOE Office of Indian Energy Program Review, DOE announced a new funding opportunity to install energy efficiency measures and deploy clean energy systems on Indian lands.
Seven Alaska communities will receive funding from DOE in the final phase of the Remote Alaska Communities Energy Efficiency (RACEE) Competition.
