Summary:
Reclamation proposes the renewal of 11 interim renewal contracts beginning March 1, 2010 for Westlands Water District and the City of Tracy and March 1, 2011 for the California Department of Fish and Game, and the cities of Huron, Coalinga and Avenal. Interim renewal contracts are undertaken under the authority of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act to provide a bridge between the expiration of the original long-term water service contracts and long-term renewal of those contracts. Each of the 11 renewal contracts will be renewed for up to two years.

Draft EA and draft FONSI available for review on January 8, 2010. Comments are due January 29, 2010. FONSI signed and Final EA completed on February 27, 2010.
