The purpose of the Montana NRCS Civil Rights web page is to assist the State Conservationist (who is also the Deputy Equal Opportunity Officer), the Montana Civil Rights Committee, and the Special Emphasis Program Managers to deliver information about equal opportunity, civil rights, and special emphasis issues and events. Minorities, women, persons with disabilities, and other groups of individuals who have not fully participated in or benefited from NRCS programs and services are provided equal access and equal opportunity under different nondiscrimination statutory provisions.
