Earned Value Management (EVM) is a systematic approach to the integration and measurement of cost, schedule, and technical (scope) accomplishments on a project or task. Following established implementation guidelines and conducting periodic surveillance of implemented EVM System (EVMS) will ensure that both the government and contractors have the ability to examine detailed schedule information, critical program and technical milestones, and cost data. Further, it will support early identification of issues and informed decision-making.
