SAN DIEGO — The Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) is proud to announce that Dwayne Lloyd, Fleet Modernization and Installation Division head and Installations Competency lead, received the 2014 Admiral Stan Arthur Civilian Award for Logistics Excellence Sept. 3.
The Chief of Naval Operations award recognizes individuals who epitomize logistics professionalism and excellence in all phases of Navy logistics, from early life-cycle planning to in-service logistics support.
Vice Adm. Philip Cullom, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Fleet Readiness and Logistics, and retired Adm. Stan Arthur praised Lloyd's leadership efforts, especially in support of the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) installations in 2014.
As the Fleet Modernization and Installation Division head and Installations Competency lead, Lloyd expertly led a combined civilian and military team of 133 personnel to manage more than 800 installations in 2014. These installations included several new network, satellite communications and signals intelligence systems. Lloyd implemented many innovative approaches that maximized enterprise resources and improved the overall execution and management of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance system delivery.

SSC Pacific is a recognized leader in the cyber domain and for autonomous unmanned systems, and is providing the technological and engineering support critical to ensuring the Navy’s information dominance.
