Here’s the list of people who will make you dance next year.
Music industry trends may be changing with a hurricane’s speed, but one thing stays intact: people will always want to have a good time. And these days, good times mean some quality rave or a strobe light-lit dance floor. It doesn’t take a genius to create a bit, but it does take one to create something that you will actually remember the morning after while desperately looking for Aspirin and a bottle of water. The electronic market may be oversaturated these days, but only a handful of artists are guaranteed to survive the tough selection. And we’re putting our faith into the hands and the turntables of these 10 artists. As one of 2016’s biggest electronic hits went: “Don’t let me, don’t let me, don’t let me down.”
Ten Ven
Chances are you’re already familiar with this Brit’s hypnotizing beats: his 2014’s track “Discotech” was indeed destined to light up any techno-driven party. Ten Ven’s got some commercial appeal, too, producing pop singer Dua Lipa’s “Room For 2” single. Ten Ven’s own EP, Weapons, drops in January, and from what we’ve already heard, it’s surely going to be a dance floor staple. Ten Ven’s power is in creating a colorful sonic palette, incorporating funky guitars, meaty kick drums and overall nuclear groove.
