Greening Our Schools

Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. They deserve a healthy, green school to study, to learn, and to grow.

April 22 is Earth Day

Join the countdown to Earth Day 2017 and Earth Day’s 50th anniversary in 2020. When it comes to the Earth, there is no time to waste.

Campaign for Communities

All of Earth Day Network’s campaigns, whether protecting forests, registering new voters or greening cities, help create a more sustainable future. You can get involved now!

Reforestation

Our planet is currently losing over 15 billion trees each year. That’s 56 acres of forest every minute. We’re working to stop that trend and turn it around. We’re planting trees that help communities—especially the world’s impoverished communities—sustain themselves and their local economies. For every dollar spent on tree planting, 2.5 dollars is generated in local income and benefits. Help us restore tree cover and rebuild local economies. Every tree counts!

Endangered Species

Species are going extinct at a faster rate than ever before. We have entered a sixth mass extinction brought on by global human activity. We need you to help protect hundreds of species while we still can.
