The Southern Great Plains Soil Survey Region 9 Office, located in Temple, Texas, as part of the National Cooperative Soil Survey Program, provides quality assurance for soil surveys and ecological sites for most of Texas and parts of Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
