USDA Fire Sciences Laboratory in Missoula, Montana
Various instruments making gas-phase measurements of laboratory biomass burns
Investigators from NOAA ESRL Chemical Sciences Division, the University of Colorado, Boulder, and the University of Montana, Missoula.
Science Goals:
To measure the smoke emissions from 18 different fuels common to the United States using a full suite of gas-phase instrumentation in order to evaluate the air quality and climate implications of biomass burning emissions.
