Take a Campus Tour

Come to GW for a closer look at our two campuses where you'll spend most of your time.

Take an hour-long tour of our historic Foggy Bottom Campus, located blocks from the White House and other D.C. institutions, to see the opportunities that a city campus can provide.

Hop on the Vern Express shuttle for a 30-minute tour of our scenic Mount Vernon Campus, a more traditional college campus that still puts you in the center of action in the city.

You can study the arts at the Corcoran School and also visit the Corcoran Museum to learn more about program options and see examples of work. Inside GW - Admitted Student Days

If you're admitted to GW for the fall semester, you'll have the opportunity to join us for a day on campus to experience what it means to be a Colonial. At Inside GW, admitted students engage and connect with faculty, academic advisors, university leaders, campus support services and current students. ​Registration invitations​ will be sent at the end of March 2017.

Parking & Public Transportation

Regardless of where you are coming from, there are a variety of ways to get to GW. We're close to three airports, including Ronald Reagan Washington National, Washington Dulles International and Baltimore Washington International, have a Metro stop right on campus and several visitor parking garages.

Hotels Near GW

GW is in the center of the action in D.C. and is close to many hotels, both in the city and in surrounding areas of Maryland and Virginia. You can choose from two official GW hotels, as well as many others that are a part of the GW Hotels discount program.
