Overview
In the Waterfall methodology, the project management plan is one of the most important written artifacts. It is a formal, approved document used to guide project execution and control. The primary uses of the project plan are to document planning assumptions and decisions, facilitate communication among stakeholders and document approved scope, cost and schedule baselines. A project plan may be summarized or detailed and could leverage all or none of the templates below, depending on the requirements of the project.
